LIVERPOOL ROAD

Victorian home with hand-crafted kitchen

The Liverpool Street house posed a bit of a challenge because, like so many homes of its age in the area, it had been split into flats at one point. As a result, it needed to be largely gutted and rebuilt. This was also an excellent opportunity, as we could rebuild the interior to reflect our vision rather than that of earlier designers.

We were able to completely update the windows, making the interior much lighter and more ‘open’ than the original Victorian plans would have permitted. The kitchen, though, is our favourite room in this home as it was all hand-crafted with Victorian dedication to quality but with modern aesthetics and lifestyles in mind.
